Capacitive Level Switch
Description
The capacitive level switch operates based on the characteristics of capacitors. A capacitor is formed between the probe and the tank wall. Variations in material level alter the capacitance value. The analysis and processing unit detects such changes and outputs a switching signal. It is suitable for both conductive and non-conductive media, featuring high precision and fast response.
Specifically, when material comes into contact with the probe, the material becomes part of the capacitor, causing an increase in capacitance. When the material moves away from the probe, the capacitance decreases. This variation is detected and converted into a switching signal for control and monitoring purposes.
