Resistive Level Switch
Description
It adopts an oscillating transmission system. When the detecting plate is blocked by materials, the main shaft stops while the motor continues running to release the trip device. The switch acts to cut off the motor power; the motor stops and outputs a level signal.
As the material level drops and resistance on the detecting plate disappears, the trip device resets, the motor restarts and outputs a relay signal, and the instrument returns to detection status.
For applications with slowly changing material levels, a timer can be installed inside the instrument to enable intermittent detection, reducing power consumption and mechanical wear and extending service life.
