Radar Object/Liquid Level Switch
Description
Radar level switch is an advanced measuring instrument and plays an important role in the field of industrial automation. Its working principle is based on radar technology. It transmits electromagnetic waves (usually microwaves or millimeter waves) and receives reflected signals to measure material height or liquid level.
Specifically, the radar level gauge emits a pulse signal. The signal propagates through space and is reflected after hitting the material surface. By measuring the time difference between signal transmission and reception, combined with the signal velocity (close to the speed of light in air), the distance between the material surface and the radar level gauge can be accurately calculated, which is then converted into material height or liquid level.
