Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Sensor
Description
The magnetostrictive level gauge is a high-precision liquid level measuring instrument operating on the magnetostrictive principle. Its core components consist of a sensing rod embedded with magnetostrictive waveguide wire and a magnetic float that moves up and down with the liquid level.
During operation, the electronic unit transmits a current pulse. The magnetic field generated by this pulse interacts with the magnetic field of the float, creating a torsional wave pulse on the waveguide wire.
By precisely measuring the time interval between the emission of the current pulse and the return of the torsional wave, the real-time position of the float can be calculated to determine the liquid level height.
